Health Research Interviewer
This part-time position is based in Sunnyvale, California. Flexible hours, including evenings and/or weekends may be necessary. Some travel within the Bay Area is required. The Health Research Interviewer assists in an epidemiological study. Responsibilities include: recruiting eligible study subjects from a population of Chinese Americans in the Bay Area, conducting scripted telephone interviews with study subjects in English, Mandarin or Cantonese, entering data electronically, tracking subject contact status, and maintaining call logs.
Status: Part time for approximately 20 hours per week for approximately 6 months. Continuation beyond this time may be possible.
Qualifications:
Must be fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. Must have basic computer skills. Training in the use of the data entry software will be provided. Bachelor degree or equivalent experience is required. Familiarity with interviewing and prior research experiences a plus.
